About us
Carpdistrict Walenhoek is an initiative of Jos Tilleman, a keen angler and lover of nature and adventure.
At the water since childhood
Jos has fished since he was young, and that has grown into a great passion for carp. He has fished in many European countries and knows well what makes a fishing holiday enjoyable. The Hungarian carp always stayed with him, and that is why he chose it for the spots in Walenhoek.
Why Carpdistrict
There are plenty of beautiful places to fish in the Netherlands, but Carpdistrict stands out for its location, its facilities and its carp. Walenhoek is green and peaceful, the facilities are clean and easy, and the Hungarian carp are unique in the Netherlands. So you can get away from it all for a week without going far from home.
On your own, as a pair or with a group
You rent a safari tent for yourself or for two, or several tents at once for a group. All four spots are equally beautiful and just as good as each other. If you bring your family, they can stay on the same grounds in the Sunny Days apartments, run by Jos and Rox.
The whole lake for your friends or your company
You can also book all four spots at once, for a week with friends or as a company outing. Then you have the lake to yourselves.
