Terms and conditions

1. 1. Period of stay

   You are entitled to use the fishing spot in accordance with the regulations of Carpdistrict Walenhoek, for the period agreed between both parties. Outside that period you have no right to the fishing spot.

2. 2. The booking

   The booking is made between the landlord and the tenant. Carpdistrict Walenhoek reserves the right to refuse a booking under certain circumstances.

3. 3. Payment

   When booking, you pay the amount due straight away to secure the week. You can cancel the booking within seven days; after that, cancellation is no longer possible.

4. 4. Condition of the property

   The grounds, the water and the property are checked by us regularly. If anything still differs from the description or there is damage, report it immediately to the owner or the person in charge on site, and we will resolve it as soon as possible. Complaints that were not reported during the stay will not be dealt with afterwards.

5. 5. Deposit

   On arrival we may ask you for a deposit of €150, which you pay in cash. The owner or the person in charge on site may refuse you access to the fishing spot or the grounds if these terms are not complied with. In the event of damage caused by the tenant, the amount to be compensated may be withheld from the deposit.

6. 6. Arrival and departure

   It is important that you respect the arrival and departure times. These can only be changed in consultation with the owner.

7. 7. Number of people

   A spot is for a maximum of two people.

8. 8. Cancellation

   After booking you have a seven-day cooling-off period and can cancel free of charge. After that the booking is final and you are not entitled to a refund. Please arrange cancellation insurance yourself.

9. 9. Liability

   Carpdistrict Walenhoek is not liable for damage suffered by the tenant or third parties as a result of staying on the grounds. Entering and staying on the grounds is entirely at your own risk.

10. 10. Cancellation by Carpdistrict Walenhoek

    If the landlord cancels, you are entitled to a refund of the amount paid.

11. 11. Complaints

    Report a shortcoming as soon as possible to the owner or the person in charge on site, so that they can look for a suitable solution. If the shortcoming is not resolved within a reasonable time and it spoils your stay, report it in writing to Carpdistrict Walenhoek straight away.

12. 12. Disputes

    All disputes between Carpdistrict Walenhoek and the tenant are governed by these terms and by Dutch law.
